This standard sized 50 x 90cm pillow is fitted with 85% small white duck feathers and 15% duck down The filling is encased in 233 thread count pure white cotton which is self piped and double stitched. It is impenetrable to dust mites, understood to be an irritant or cause of asthma, and hypo-allergenic.
The cotton complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 which tests for harmful substances ensuring product safety. It is fire retardant to British Standards Specification 5852 and is manufacture to European and British Standard Specifications.
It has a 1 year guarantee for workmanship and materials but this product is worthy of a Davey Down pillow protector to prolong its life for an indefinite period. The protector should be washed at regular intervals particularly following a head cold, flu or similar infection.
