Delivery Policy

UK Mainland - next working day insured express courier service.

DaveyDown charge a flat carriage charge of £7.75 (NOW FREE on orders over £50) irrespective of value or weight of your order, to the UK Mainland. Our courier Interlink can now provide you with a time of delivery within an hour based on the tracking number that will be issued to you once your order has been shipped.

All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability.

The delivery date will be agreed and confirmed with you and a signed acknowledgement of receipt will be required. If a receipt cannot be obtained, a card will be left with a contact number for you to collect the goods from the local courier’s depot or request another delivery date.

Signatures will be required when delivered, unless you wish to make other arrangements through our customerservices@daveydown.com. Before the dispatch of your goods, you may request special arrangements (example, to leave with a neighbour or other secure location of your choosing) which we will follow, at your risk, as the insurance may become null and void.

Normal British mainland delivery is the next working day providing your order is placed by 13:00.

Delivery to some postcodes in Scotland may take 48 hours.

Delivery Hours : 08:00 - 15:00 England, 08:00 - 17:00 Scotland, we are unable to confirm a time, but this may be available from your local depot.

The goods will not be held by the local courier for longer than five days, after which, they will be returned to us to await your further instructions. You will be charged the couriers return carriage rates and later re-dispatch costs.


Other UK Locations - including Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, etc.

For overseas delivery please telephone DaveyDown customer services on 01202 824105, or email your enquiry to customerservices@daveydown.com with your order requirements, and we can advise you of the appropriate carriage charges, and anticipated delivery times.

We don't deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses.;
